We are located in the Paso Robles A.V.A. six miles north of Paso Robles on River Road. Our hilltop vineyard is situated in a notch high on the west ridge of the Estrella River valley. This valley provides great cooling evening winds. Our red Rhône and Bordeaux varietals are grown on well drained slopes of sandy clay loams with traces of limestone and river rocks.
At RN Estate the winemaking starts in the vineyard. As soon as planted each vine is carefully trained to bear fruit with the ideal exposure to sun, light and wind. We hand harvest, making several passes picking only the perfectly ripened berries. At the winery, finishing touches are applied through aging our wines in a selected variety of European and American oak barrels. Our goal is to handcraft a wine with a balance of flavors that are in harmony…
